Frequently Asked Questions

The decision about what to do for your child when they are going to start Kindergarten program is a tough choice for many parents.

It is important to gather all the information about a school in order to make an informed decision about what works best for you and your child.

We have put together the following FAQ’s to assist you in this decision making process.

If you have any additional questions or concerns please feel free to contact us and we will be glad to assist you.

What are your hours of operation?
Our hours at Rasida are from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm based on the schedule you decide to select. We offer both full time care as well as part time care. If you require extended hours please contact us and we will attempt to arrange an alternate schedule for you to meet your needs.
Do you serve meals at the school?
Yes. Based on the plan you select, we do serve a nutritious lunch as well as a mid-morning and mid afternoon snack. Please note: all children will be required to eat the foods that are offered.
Do you offer School Transport?
Yes. We have vans that pick and drop children in Meru and its environs. The vans are operated by experienced drivers and a child minder who ensures safety and comfort of the children.
Do you offer Toilet Training?
Yes. We believe that children are ready to begin toilet training when they are between the ages of 2 and 3 years. It is very important to us that all children are able to participate in the program and we will NOT EXCLUDE any child who is not yet fully trained. The “potty process” is an individual learning process, which all children develop at their own time. This process is never be rushed, and we are more than willing to help and support children in their developmental process. Any child who experiences a mishap in the classroom will be treated with respect and consideration, and an “accidents happen” attitude. When both parent and child are ready we will up with a personalized plan to assist you and your child. We will ask for your support on this as consistency between the school and home will ensure positive results. During this stage please be sure to provide us with extra outfits in case of accidents.
Where do children nap in the afternoon?
Our facility has a designated tranquil area for sleeping. The sleep room is supervised and/or monitored during the sleep period.
